We're available by message anytime you need anything, and our local team can be on-site quickly if something needs hands-on attention — but we respect your privacy and won't drop by unannounced. Located on the shores of Lake 27 on a quiet lakefront road in Gaylord, Michigan — the heart of Northern Michigan's four-season playground. Minutes from downtown Gaylord's shops and restaurants. The area offers year-round activities including golf, skiing, hiking, snowmobiling, fishing, and access to dozens of inland lakes.


Self check-in via smart lock — you'll receive your access code before arrival. The entire home is yours, no shared spaces.

Also worth knowing: Lake 27's water level is currently higher than usual, so the beach is noticeably smaller than it appears in the photos. The dock, swim access, and waterfront are all fully usable - there's just less sand between the water and the yard right now.

The main floor opens to the water. Open living room with L-shaped sectional, 65" smart TV, and a vinyl turntable. Full kitchen, breakfast nook with lake views, and a pool table that doubles as the dining table when the whole crew sits down.

Coming to Retreat 27
We're reinvesting in this property over the next year. Planned for winter 2026: a bar and deck hangout area. Planned for the 2027 season: a new driveway, new landscaping across the lot, and a new sand beach at the waterfront.
Everything described above is here and ready today — these are additions to a complete, fully equipped house, not work in progress. Northern Michigan weather drives the schedule, so we describe them by season rather than by date.

A car is recommended. Free parking on-site for multiple vehicles. The property is approximately 1 hour south of the Mackinac Bridge, 3.5 hours north of Detroit, and 2.5 hours north of Grand Rapids. Nearest airport: Pellston Regional (PLN), about 45 minutes north.
