All-new as of 2022, this fantastic lake house is your ticket to peaceful Northwoods living and endless fun for the whole family. Nestled on the shores of Eagle River's Meta Lake, this five-bedroom stunner boasts private water access and a host of outdoor amenities including water toys and lawn features. Winter guests will enjoy the snowmobile trails available two miles from the home. Swim and fish from the private pier or launch one of the two kayaks, paddleboard, or canoe from the sandy beach for a leisurely lake cruise. The water trampoline is also sure to be a group favorite. Make the most of summer days with backyard barbecues using the gas grill out on the deck. After enjoying a meal at one of the two outdoor dining tables, head down to the wood-burning firepit for s'mores and starlight conversation. A breezy screened porch makes a perfect spot for morning coffee or happy hour hosting. The open-concept main floor welcomes group gatherings with soaring cathedral ceilings and a floor-to-ceiling-window display showcasing stunning outdoor views. We love coming to this house. Its layout is perfect for families with kids of varying ages, with us all easily being able to gather in the common spaces without feeling like we're on top of each other. The biggest draw though is the water. It's absolutely pristine and perfect for swimming, especially with the water trampoline to play with. The sandy beach entry is a big hit with the kids, and we appreciate that there's no abrupt drop off to deeper water - we felt very comfortable that the kids were safe the whole time and could tell how deep the water would be. We caught a few larger fish off the dock, and probably 40+ smaller ones that were exciting for the kids to reel in. They must spray for mosquitoes because we very rarely see any bugs, even with being outside most of the day. You couldn't ask for a better up north cabin!

This place is amazing! We were a group of 8 adult women on a Mom’s weekend away. We loved how clean and comfortable the home was. The kitchen is fully stocked. We lived around the fire-pit, on the screen porch, and on the dock. We enjoyed the provided water toys. It was nice to each have a bed to ourselves with multiple bathrooms. My only ‘complaint’ was that I couldn’t find the 8th bed on our first night. I reached out to VRBO and Vacasa and got the runaround. After multiple messages, an email providing photos, and a phone call (not my ideal on vacation), I found a local contact the owners provided in the binder. She replied back 3 hours later letting me know it was a trundle bed tucked under another bed. I was embarrassed I didn’t think of that myself and gave the recommendation to update the VRBO and Vacasa listing to include that info. I was not impressed with the timeliness of customer service but that’s nothing against the property or owners itself. Would be back to stay here again in a heartbeat!

This house was perfect for a trip with young kids (2,3,4,5) - lakefront was sandy and shallow, stairs were a great feature, plenty of floaties and life vests and boats for all! House was clean and spacious.
