About this house rental
Farmhouse completely renovated, which combines the charm of old stones, the calm of the plain and comfort.
The house is ideal for a family stay:
- On the first floor 3 bedrooms, 2 of which have en-suite bathrooms and 2 separate toilets.
- Two large bedrooms with carefully decorated double beds and views of the plain, in absolute calm. Each of these bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub. The bedrooms are equipped with storage (wardrobes and cupboards) and have comfortable bedding.
- A bedroom with 2 single beds overlooking a flowered enclosure (wisteria and hydrangeas), a large desk and children's books.
- A laundry room with a washing machine and dryer, vacuum cleaner, brooms and household products.
- A fully equipped kitchen with an American-style bar, which allows you to prepare meals while continuing to enjoy the conversations of the dining room and also to have a view of the plain. The kitchen has an oven, microwave, dishwasher, nespresso machine, stand mixer, lots of dishes, raclette machine.
- A dining room with a wooden table that can accommodate beautiful tables of ten people (chairs and stool) and overlooking the garden, as well as a wood stove for cool winter evenings.
- A cathedral living room with exposed beams, a large warm fireplace, two sofas and bay windows to take full advantage of the garden.
- Upstairs, a dormitory / games room with 3 single beds (and an extra mattress) with dozens of comics, games and a desk. The dormitory has 2 windows: one overlooking the courtyard and the other overlooking the plain (you can see the roofs of the Château de Talcy)
Outside:
- A large flowered courtyard, with a lawn and a hundred-year-old lime tree. Perfect for a nap on deckchairs, a lunch in the shade of the lime tree or games with the children (swing, table tennis). The courtyard is protected from the street by a flower hedge (an extremely quiet street)
- A half-hectare garden overlooking the plain with teak garden furniture surrounded by greenery and a teak table that seats 6 people for the long summer evenings.
Seris is a very quiet little village. Nearby you have shops in the beautiful town of Beaugency 15 minutes away (town on the banks of the Loire with small food shops, a market on Saturday mornings, a bookshop, a municipal swimming pool, tennis courts, cafes and restaurants and a commercial area with supermarkets) or in Mer. Chambord is 20 minutes away by car, Blois 30 minutes away.
Access is extremely easy: the motorway exit is 10 minutes away.
