Not walkable to the castle- unless you fast walk for 40mins! Not a short stroll as advertised - it’s in the middle of an estate (not so nice )
Make you pay £££ deposit or no check in details
Make you sign this ridiculous document also to say if they had to take deposit off you because of damage- you can’t leave them a negative review!
Got signs everywhere to remind you not to make noise/ switch off lights etc - doesn’t make us feel relaxed
Strange smell in games room and first floor bathroom
We have young children- I have to send several messages to explain to Asked for a slightly later check out on a bank holiday but they asked for extra money per hour?! And finally they grant us a slightly later check out than 10am!
Lacks basic like a bit of milk/ oil for cooking
Minimal instant coffee provided- enough for 2cups of coffee (for our 3nights stay!)
Only 1 TV in the house
For the price we paid-which was like £££ per night, I would expect more !
Will I stay again? definitely not
