The surrounding area is rich in natural beauty, with the Pembrokeshire Coast Path providing breathtaking views and opportunities to spot wildlife, including dolphins and seals. Nearby attractions like the Welsh Wildlife Centre offer nature trails and activities for children, while charming villages such as St Dogmaels add to the area’s appeal with historic sites and local markets. Getting there
To reach SA43 1PH (Cardigan, Pembrokeshire/Ceredigion border), follow these directions from the main routes into West Wales:
From the M4, leave at Junction 49 (Pont Abraham) and take the A48 towards Carmarthen. Continue onto the A40 west, then take the A484 north towards Cardigan. Follow the road into Cardigan town.
If travelling from North Wales, take the A487 south through Aberystwyth and continue directly into Cardigan. From the south (Fishguard area), follow the A487 north into Cardigan.
Once in Cardigan, follow signs for the town centre and local roads towards the SA43 1PH area. As the town has narrow streets and one-way systems, it’s best to use a sat nav for the final approach.
