About this house rental
The Fischerkate combines wellness with nature: unwind in the sauna or steam shower before taking a dip in the private lake. A rowboat and canoe are available for exploring the water. Whether summer or winter—this place invites you to unwind. The inspiring view has even inspired authors to write their works.
The cottage offers everything you need for a restful stay right on the water. Indoor and outdoor wellness facilities ensure pure relaxation. The decor creates a cosy atmosphere where you’ll feel right at home. The garden’s perfect for leisurely strolls: discover Schratzel, elves, and fairies in the enchanted forest, or make a wish at the venerable aspen tree. A genuine piece of the Berlin Wall tells the story of recent history. The garden extends across the entire property and is open for your use. We ask that you be considerate of other guests’ areas. Various animals roam freely on the property. Therefore, please keep your dogs on a lead at first until you can be certain they won't chase the free-roaming animals. Holstein Switzerland offers numerous places to visit: The Holzberg Tower offers breathtaking views, and the castles in Eutin and Plön are well worth a visit. The Baltic Sea, with its quiet beaches, is nearby. A handcar ride to Lütjenburg, the Donkey Park, or the children’s area at the Erdbeerhof provide a change of pace. Wine tastings featuring grapes from Schleswig-Holstein’s first vineyard round out your stay.

We had a wonderful stay. The Fischerkate and the surroundings are beautiful—even better than in the pictures. I’ve rarely been this happy with a booking!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this magical place.
The cottage truly feels like something out of a dream -every little detail is beautiful, cozy, and thoughtfully designed.
It honestly felt like staying in a small piece of paradise.
Everything exceeded our expectations, from the peaceful surroundings to the unique atmosphere of the house itself. It’s a place that makes you slow down, relax, and simply enjoy the moment.
Tina and her husband are truly exceptional hosts- warm, kind, and genuinely welcoming.
We were so happy to spend time with them over a glass of wine (which, to be honest, turned into more than just one 😉).
They hosted us with such openness and generosity, and we could really feel it came from the heart.
We left not only with beautiful memories, but also grateful that we had the chance to meet such lovely people. This stay was truly special, and we would return in a heartbeat.

A lovingly decorated house with a spacious sauna overlooking the lake. The location is absolutely unique—we had the garden and the entire lake all to ourselves. Completely tame and curious ducks wander all over the property; it’s like a scene straight out of a storybook. The area is quiet, with practically no traffic noise.
