About this cottage rental
Nestled on a quiet hill off of 199 highway and outside the adult community of Horizon Village ,Sheri’s Cottage is the ideal getaway to be comfortably alone and yet near the city.
The outside has a rose garden setting. It has extra wide doorways and handicap features in the 2 full bathrooms. There are no steps outside or inside the house.
The EV Car Charger is 50 amps and can be used for all cars except Teslas
Retirees that desire to travel and stay in beautiful homes with comfort near great locations
This is a duplex completely well stocked. You only need to buy your food. There is a charcoal barbecue and table and chairs in the patio area
We live very close a few houses away from the cottages
We are located outside Horizon Village , a beautiful over 55 community. Very friendly and unique
It is best to have a car. There is a bus that comes by but it just twice a day. The house is located with some great cycling and walking routes. Rouge Community College is our neighbor and it is wonderful to walk through. It has won awards on plant diversity.
Is is very quiet and peaceful, but close to downtown.

We put a lock box with a front door key in the small compartment. When it is closer to your check in time I will text you or if you prefer call you with a 4 digit code number. Once inside there will be a garage door opener on the kitchen counter you can park your vehicle in the garage. Please DO NOT PARK AT THE FRONT DOOR. There is un-restricted parking on Hubbard Lane if you prefer to park there or need additional parking. Trash pick up is on Thursdays and there will be limited street parking as the required spacing for containers is 5 feet. There are information sheets regarding the house and rules. Please take the time to read them, including internet password etc.

Super clean and really well stocked house. Nice pans in the kitchen (vs the thrift store variety in many other VRBOs). Very comfortable and close to central GP and the outlying areas. Sheri is a great host & communicates very quickly.

The cottage was very clean and super cute and comfy! We felt right at home. Our son loved hanging out on the deck and we really appreciated the garage access! The host is very kind and great with communication! We enjoyed using the cottage as a home base while we did stuff! Highly reccomend the jet boats!
