The dock is also ideal for launching a kayak or boat. Please note that while the pool is professionally maintained and sparkling clean, some cosmetic wear on the pool lining may be visible but does not affect the water quality or your enjoyment.

The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1 through November 30, with peak activity typically occurring from mid-August through mid-October. While natural disasters are beyond our control, our policy regarding cancellations and refunds remains the same: if the home is habitable, no refunds will be issued. We strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance for added protection and peace of mind during hurricane season. If a named storm is forecast for the area, the following precautions may be taken (when possible by one person) and will remain in place until the storm has passed:
Outdoor dock furniture will be moved to a safe location.
Lanai furniture will be moved inside or secured against the home.
Televisions will be unplugged.
Trash cans will be secured against the home, unless trash pickup is scheduled within the next 48 hours.
Ice bins will be emptied, and ice makers will be turned off in case of a power outage.
Electric storm shutters will be closed. (Manual storm shutters are not installed.)

I’d highly recommend this property for its roomy interior and exterior, quiet location, refreshing pool. Beds were comfortable, linens good quality. Kitchen well equipped with high end cookware. It’s 1 hour to any nice beach. Venice south beach is the most convenient to get to.Cons are very low budget paper towels and toilet paper with minimal supply. Pay to heat the pool.Overall we enjoyed the house and felt it was a fairly good value. Book direct with Vacasa for the lowest service fees. High fees on VRBO.

On the plus side, the house itself was very nice, with a great location, very walkable and safe. Plenty of towels and seating, comfortable beds and living area furniture (indoor & outdoor). Great water pressure for showering! We had to contact management upon arrival about a patio door not locking and they responded and took care of it very quickly. As for the negatives, the cleanliness could use some work. Dishes had to be washed before we used them (dishwasher was very loud), the windows were filthy, and the coffeemaker leaked. There were no measuring spoons, bath mats, kitchen dish cloths, or pool thermometer. No lawn service was completed during our 2 month stay. The sprinklers were not running so the lawn was dried out. Also worth mentioning is that garbage trucks run 3 days of the week in the area. (Garbage/recycling on Tuesday, garbage again on Friday, and lawn waste on Saturday). We have an anxious dog and hearing the trucks starting at 5:30 am made for a rough start to the day. I understand this is not something that is controlled by the homeowner or management, but other renters might appreciate the heads up.

Was a nice house, could have used some more spoons as there are only 4. The spatuala they had was not useable. The floors were filthy.
