About this apartment rental
This recently refurbished apartment has bright, spacious interiors, comfortable bedrooms, and carefully chosen details to make your stay easy, relaxing, and memorable.
You check in using a key box code. I am however local to the area, so if you need anything or have any questions, I am only a phone call away and a short drive!
Being directly on Whitstable’s vibrant high street means you’re just moments away from independent shops, cafes and the seafront. Take a relaxing boat trip to see the enthralling WWII forts or the adorable seals from the old working fishermans harbour. Relaxing walks will take you either along Tankerton Slopes past the Whitstable Castle or past the Neptune Pub on the beach to the wild and rustic beach in Seasalter.
The frequent buses take you to nearby Herne Bay with its historic Pier or Canterbury boasting its magnificent Cathedral.
You have access to all areas in the property apart from laundry cupboard.
NEW PROPERTY - Set in the heart of Whitstable, this beautifully refurbished two bedroom apartment is perfect for guests who want to be right in the middle of the action. Spacious, light filled rooms create a calm, comfortable retreat after a day exploring the town.
You enter through a stylish, fully equipped kitchen/diner. The lounge offers a relaxed space to unwind, with the added bonus of a dedicated desk and monitor if you need to log on and work remotely.
The apartment features two generous bedrooms: one with a king size bed and the other with a comfortable double, both with ample storage. Step outside to enjoy the private decking area, a lovely spot for a morning coffee or an evening wind down.
There is free street parking on the roads to the rear of the High Street but you cannot park directly outside the property as there are double yellow lines. The nearest paid parking is Gladstone Road or Middle Wall car park. You can view the charges on the Canterbury City Council website. Parking can be limited in the high season but once you have parked up, you are close enough to walk into town, beach, shops etc. You can also visit the 'Just Park' website to find out where to park in Whitstable.
There are frequent busses running from Whitstable to Herne Bay and Canterbury. You will find bus stops along High Street, Oxford Street etc.
The trains from Whitstable station will take you to Ramsgate or further afield to London. Whitstable Train Station is about a 10 minute walk to the town centre.
There are also Taxi services available for short fares or airport runs.
The nearest airport is in London and the Ferry port is in Dover.
There are stairs both up to the flat and inside which some may find steep, although there is a handrail.
The flat is on the high street so there can be street noise (and sounds of seagulls in the morning) but that's in exchange for being in a great central location!
No smoking.
No Pets.
Please keep a noise to a minimum after 10pm to respect the neighbours.
