About this apartment rental
Converted in 2014 from a former tobacco drying barn, the Maison du Cordier benefits from 15 years of experience in renovation and remodeling.
With particular attention paid to the finishes and choice of materials, it comfortably accommodates 10 people in 4 bedrooms (2 bedrooms with double beds and 2 bedrooms with 3 single beds).
The first floor features a 70 m² living area that includes a living room with comfortable sofas facing a fireplace made of local stone, a dining room that seats 12, and a corner kitchen with a dishwasher, built-in oven and microwave, and a fridge-freezer.
An open-riser staircase leads to a landing that serves 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one with a shower, the other with a bathtub). Two separate restrooms—one upstairs and one on the first floor—complete the bathroom facilities.
The first floor walls feature exposed ochre-colored sandstone, traditionally repointed, and the numerous beams underscore the property’s authenticity.
A laundry room with a washer and dryer and a storage room with a second refrigerator are also available on the first floor.
In the living room, the sofa bed can accommodate 2 additional guests if needed, bringing the house’s total capacity to 12 people.
The southwest-facing terrace is accessed through double French doors. It features teak patio furniture and a stainless-steel barbecue.
A private, heated, and secure pool adjoins the terrace. A private, well-lit parking area can accommodate three cars.
At your disposal:
- Access to all on-site activities: 6 secure swimming pools maintained at 27 degrees, a tennis court lit in the evening, beach volleyball and pétanque courts, soccer, and ping-pong tables; a giant trampoline; a playground for the little ones; a treehouse for the kids; and a sauna for parents.
- 28 bicycles of all sizes (mountain and road bikes), including 8 electric bikes.
- A full set of bedding, bath towels, kitchen towels, and all cleaning supplies. You’ll also find a tourist guide and a selection of restaurants in your home.
- For the little ones: a travel crib, high chair, baby bathtub, changing table, and baby monitor.
- Access to the herb garden so you can pick herbs to flavor your barbecues and planchas.
- On the day of your arrival, we’ll pick up your pre-ordered groceries from the local drive-thru (Intermarché) and deliver them to your home.
- During your stay, we’ll deliver pastries, specialty breads, and baguettes at 7 a.m. that you’ll have ordered the day before.
- The day after your arrival, a welcome aperitif and a complimentary tasting of gourmet delicacies (dried duck breast, terrines, and foie gras).
- Upon request and for a fee: in-home chef, babysitting, end-of-stay cleaning, and Nespresso capsules.
- Personalized service and/or special rates with local providers (winemakers, foie gras producers, restaurants, artisan butchers, pastry shops).
