A charming cottage located on a mountain stream less than a mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway but only 5-10 minutes from all the restaurants and Appalachian State University. 15 minutes to Blowing Rock and App Ski Mountain. Our cottage offers 2 bedrooms with queen beds, 2 full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living room, a remote work station and a great porch that extends over the stream with a gas fire pit.

For hiking enthusiasts, the Blue Ridge Parkway and some of the region’s most-loved trails are just a short drive away.

-Goshen Creek Trail on the Mountains to Sea Trail — a 3.1 mile out and back trail that explores the pristine upper portions of Goshen Creek. This trailhead is less than a mile away with parking available off of Bamboo Rd.
-Boone Fork Trail & Hebron Falls — a 5-mile loop with creeks and cascades.
-Rough Ridge Trail - short, steep, and worth it for sweeping mountain views.
-Glen Burney Trail (Blowing Rock) - a tucked-away waterfall hike.
-Bass Lake Loop - an easy, peaceful walk perfect for mornings.
