About this cabin rental
Our cabin is located on 40 acres of breathtaking serenity in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas.
Comprised of a ~20 acre private peninsula with almost 2 miles of Beaver Lake frontage and a
~20 acre tract surrounded on 2 sides by 16,000 acres of forever-wild Hobbs State Park. Hobbs is the
largest State Park in Arkansas, containing 37 miles of some of the best mountain biking and
hiking trails in the lower 48 -- recreational activities abound. During the day enjoy the water, sun
and breezes on the decks. At night, enjoy the peace that comes with being surrounded by
nature and listen for the call of our little namesake.
Our cabin has two bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs, along with the kitchen, laundry and living room. The first bedroom has a queen bed and full bath. The second bedroom has two twin beds, with a converter that can make them into a king. This bedroom also has a walk in closet that has been converted to a sensory room/bedroom. It has a twin bed along with sensory toys. There is also a pack-n-play available.
The living room has a full sleeper sofa. The kitchen has spices and condiments for your use.
There is also a washer and dryer, with laundry soap provided. Off the kichen is a sliding door to a screened patio for outdoor eating; and another to the best spot in the house: the upstairs deck. Morning coffee on the deck watching the sun rise over the mountains and the lake is one of the musts while staying here.
Downstairs is a large, open room with a queen pull-out sectional sofa, a full/twin bunk with trundle and another twin bed; Great for kids! A tv, pool table, and bubble hockey game complete the downstairs. There is a sliding door out to the bottom deck for easy access to the water!
There is a canoe and three kayaks for your use, as well as basic fishing poles and gear. There is a variety of lifejackets provided in various sizes, including two infant vests.
