Quietly located vacation home for up to 6 people, just 5 km from Hjo and Lake Vättern. A second lake is within walking distance and visible from the house—ideal for families and those seeking peace and quiet.
The price shown is the final price, including final cleaning.
To ensure transparent billing for electricity costs, a deposit is required, which will be refunded after departure based on actual usage.

The Accommodation
Our house is nestled in a quiet, spacious neighborhood surrounded by typical Swedish nature. Here you can enjoy absolute peace and quiet without any through traffic—perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
What makes it special: The property includes the charming “Villa Kunterbunt”—a separate guesthouse on the grounds that houses one of the four bedrooms. In total, we can accommodate up to 6 people.
Location & Surroundings
The location offers you the best of both worlds: absolute privacy and proximity to the water.
The Lake: Just about 2.5 km away lies the crystal-clear Lake Mullsjön, which invites you to swim and relax.
Hjo (The “Wooden Town”): In just a few minutes by car (5 km), you’ll reach the award-winning town of Hjo. Stroll through the historic city park, enjoy an ice cream at the harbor, or visit the famous “Guldkroksbadet” outdoor swimming pool. Hjo is known for its well-preserved wooden houses from the 18th and 19th centuries and exudes pure Scandinavian charm.
Pure Nature: Hiking trails and paths through the Swedish forests start right at your doorstep—perfect for walks or for picking berries and mushrooms.

We recently purchased the house and are gradually restoring it to its former glory with a lot of love. It’s already fully equipped:
Kitchen: Fully equipped with a dishwasher.
Living Area: Cozy living area with TV (German channels), DVD player, and stereo system.
Laundry: A washer-dryer is available in the house.
Sleeping: 4 bedrooms (sleeps 6).
Activities
Would you like to explore the lake from the water? Upon request, a stand-up paddleboard (SUP) can be rented during your stay.
Rental price: 30 € per stay, deposit: 50 €.

Since we want to keep our pricing structure transparent, please note the following terms (payment due before arrival)
Additional costs: Electricity is billed based on usage at 0.39 € per kWh

A security deposit of 150 € has been collected to cover electricity costs. After your departure, we will calculate your actual usage and immediately refund the remaining amount.
There are no hidden costs with us: The final cleaning fee is already included in the price.

– No parties or events
– Rentals are exclusively for guests seeking peace and quiet
Guest Access
Guests have access to all rooms in the main house as well as the guest house, including the terraces and garden.
