Wonderful calmness in the nature, much of space, child-friendly

We were happy with our stay. The house is well suited for large groups and has charm.

Die Abgeschiedenheit des Hauses in der Natur , hat den meisten von uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Haus ist mit allem eingerichtet was man benötigt. Grundstück riesig und man kann sich die Zeit mit Ballspielen und Rumtollen vertreiben. Leider ist nur eine Sonnenliege vorhanden ( Haus für 16 Personen) . Sieben Schlafzimmer mit jeweils eigenem Bad war super. Leider war bei der Beschreibung nicht zu ersehen, daß der Angelplatz doch ca 2 km entfernt ist. Baden würde ich dort auch nicht. Die Boote haben ihre beste Zeit hinter sich . Wir haben einen alten Steinbruch in ca 3 km Entfernung entdeckt, dort konnte man baden. Dies stand leider auch in keiner Info-Mappe . Badestellen am See in der Nähe haben wir vergeblich gesucht.

Dejlig bolig med gode værelser. Ingen gennemgangsværelser og badeværelser til alle værelser. Lidt slidt ud endvendigt , men meget charmerende og stor grund til.

This is a lovely old Swedish "summer home". That is the standard of this home and works well. HOWEVER, this host does NOT manage the rental of this property well at all. I had booked this very far in advance to be sure to get a place that would accommodate my family. When the date we would arrive got closer we had questions. When I emailed the host, I did not get a response for 2 weeks despite reminders. I called VRBO in the US who said they would contact her and get the information we needed. That never happened. I waited a few more days until after I arrived in Sweden and called the Swedish VRBO. They kept me on the phone for a VERY long time and said they would contact the host to get the address of the place, so all of us who were arriving at different times and were driving in would be able to put the address into the gps app and arrive safely. She said she had emailed the info to us weeks ago, but she had not. She sent it 2 days before arrival and in German!! Useless to us. Fortunately we were visiting people who were brought up in the area and knew which house this was and could provide the address. So don't rent this house unless you know people in the area! When we got there, there were no sheets on the beds and she claimed that in Sweden people bring their own. I checked with Swedes and they said, no that is not the case with Short-term Rentals. AND it was not stated on the website either. It is unfortunate that this place is so mismanaged.
