Enjoy a vacation in a beautiful and spacious vacation home in Sweden. It is a typical Swedish red wooden house, ideal for larger groups of up to 17 people. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, and there is a large living room and a spacious terrace. Behind the house is a large garden, which—together with the house—is part of the former estate. In the garden, soccer goals and a large trampoline encourage some exercise before dinner.

We have a sauna in another guest house about 200 m away. If that house is also occupied, you’ll need to coordinate with the tenants of that house to use the sauna—for example, every other day.

Surrounded by nature, children can play here undisturbed, and you won’t hear a sound of traffic!

We have our own swimming and rowing spot, complete with a fishing platform, on the Tidan River, which leads to our lake. The lake is not directly accessible from our property!
The lake is of interest to birdwatchers and ornithologists. It is picturesque and secluded—a strictly protected nature reserve with rare birds that can be observed from a platform.
Anglers can use one of our rowboats for a trip down the river and out onto the lake. A fishing license is not required. Other lakes are located in the immediate vicinity (15 to 20 km away), ranging from a secluded swimming cove to a tourist beach with a volleyball net, mini-golf, kayak rentals, and a swimming pool (Mariestad on Lake Vänern).

Right next to the house are extensive wooded areas that are perfect for walking and mushroom picking.
Single and double sea kayaks are available for use with a liability waiver to explore the surrounding lakes.

BED LINEN and TOWELS can be rented on-site and paid for in cash; they cost 18 € per set.

If you are a smaller group—for example, 1–2 families—we have another, smaller vacation home that is perfect for groups of up to 8 people; it has 3 bedrooms with double beds and 2 bedrooms with single beds. If you’re interested, please contact us. The booking calendar applies to the larger house.
