The apartment is newly refurbished, very comfortable and clean. Its dual-aspect means you get lots of natural light and it is also furnished with a sitting area, small kitchen, electric blinds and insect screens on the windows. It is also very central, you can walk everywhere. A stone’s throw from bookshops, cafes and bars, and a short walk from the vibrant neighbourhood of Exarcheia, theatres, cinemas bus and metro stations.
The double glazing reduces noise, but muffled sounds from people and nearby bars on Friday and Saturday night were still audible. Once I charged my AirPods and put them on, I was able to sleep soundly. I fed back to the owner who was very accommodating and said would provide ear-plugs. Don’t be put off by this but do come prepared.
