Great location. Sunrise over the bay. You can see the waves of main beach. Close to everything on town. Great base for a surf trip to A-bay.
Doorways to the bathroom are low if you are over 6ft tall.

Great location right on the beach. Also a good location for the village and not too far to walk to main break for surfing, Lovely colonial architecture and tiled area. Has been grande in its day. New bathrooms with Cold water shower only, but that didn’t bother us as the weather is hot.
Could be noisy occasionally at night if other guests returned late from all night beach parties as the two accommodation buildings face each other and are concrete and the floor tiled so the voices reverberated between. The manager did deal with it however to quieten the party goers.

The room is small but the a/c is perfect, the bed very comfortable with good quality bed clothes. The bathroom is modern and well equipped.
The owner is very welcoming and helpful. He’s available 24/7. Just on the beach, this hotel is an excellent value for money.

My stay at Elysian Stay Arugambay was absolutely wonderful. The property is right in front of the beach—literally, your first step out of the hotel leads directly to the sand. It is also very close to the main surfing point, making it perfect for beach lovers and surfers.
Waking up in the morning was a beautiful experience, with the soothing sound of the waves and a perfect sea view right from the property.
The host, Sharbeen, was incredibly friendly and helpful. He made sure everything was comfortable for us and kindly suggested nearby places to visit, which really enhanced my stay.
The room was clean, well-maintained, and offered a lovely view. The air conditioning and internet both worked perfectly throughout my stay.
Another great advantage is the location—restaurants, shops, and attractions are all within walking distance, making everything very convenient.
Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Elysian Stay Arugambay to anyone visiting the area!
