Willow Lodge

Lovely garden room, perfect for our stay on a very hot day. We were going to a wedding and the host was wonderful and let us check in early. Beautiful location, by Darley Park and lots of quirky animal sculptures to discover.

Excellent stay over during our festival trip, the bed was super cozy and the surrounding area was lovely to explore. There's a nice little trail leading into the forest at the back of the lodge, we didn't get a chance to use the hot tub (too busy partying and it was like 20 odd degrees in the shade) but I'm sure it'd have been super nice in the cooler parts of the year. Owner was super welcoming, got us a nice diffusing lamp shade and an egyptian silk bedsheet that made me not want to move for at least an hour after I woke up. The wifi was down during our stay due to an issue up the road but we were offered to use the owner's hotspot to access their netflix under the promise that we don't buy anything. We would have stayed their for the entire trip but had to stay somewhere else for personal reasons, otherwise it would've been a nice stay over.

Shower was too small for my partner to help me wash and it leaks slightly but there are other rooms that can be used upon requesting for accessibility usage. Signal is poor inside the room unless sitting underneath TV (lol) but returns when sitting outside.
