Charming Old Schoolhouse Apartment in Dean Village

Lovely quiet apartment in a historic building in a beautiful village. Quiet, beautiful views, lovely walks along river. Walking distance (30 mins along interesting streets) to the old city of Edinburgh. The owner sent clear instructions on accessing property using key lockbox, and was very easy to contact.

I loved the property in every way. Stairs in property and steep stone streets and paths would be difficult for people with mobility issues.

Владелец внимателен к гостям. Мы провели прекрасное время в этих апартаментах и будем рады еще вернуться!

Very cosy. Spacious. Well located within easy walking distance of city centre. Picturesque location.

Beautiful location next to a scenic bridge overlooking a stream and with easy access to the footpath along the water of Leith. Great for people who like to walk, and the pathway offers a beautiful hike to Haymarket station, the Modern Art Museum, and Stockbridge (nearby neighborhood )--lots of stairs to get off the footpath at any of these locations except right by Dean Village. We got around well without a single taxi or car ride-- buses, trams and walking were fine for this trip. The apartment itself was clean, well maintained and quiet at night. It was a really enjoyable stay. I only contacted the landlord by message and phone call but he was nice and helpful.

There were a lot of stairs involved and the key access plan is difficult for anyone who isn't fully mobile--it's not the right place for someone with problems bending or walking. The building is at the bottom of a steep hill. It's lovely but bring your walking shoes!
