Waterfront Gem Near Kemah Sunset Views

The house was great - lots of space for our group and well air conditioned with ample ceiling fans (very important in Houston in June). The kitchen was well stocked with mugs, glasses, dishes, pans, flatware, utensils, cutting boards, etc. making it very easy to prepare and serve all meals there, rather than eat out. The location is good if you want to be close to the boardwalk, make a quick run to the grocery store, or visit the Space Center. The neighborhood was quiet both nights. The back deck is great for breakfast in the morning and fish/bird watching in the bay as the sun sets. One of our group said the front deck is great for watching the sun rise, but I'm taking his word for it because I certainly would not know. Plenty of parking space and outdoor chairs for everyone to gather at any level. Plenty of towels, blankets and pillows for everyone.

Only had one trash bag which created a bit of a challenge for a group cooking on site - but we made it work. And paper towels and toilet paper were minimal so we felt the need to pick up some extra - just in case.  The couch was a bit small for our whole group and squeaky, (there was a good amount of time spent watching the World Cup) but it did get the job done with some strategic placing of butts. There are also two other chairs in the living room, but not conducive to long term lounging through sports events - although, granted - not likely many travelers going to book this place to watch a lot of TV. It was just a timing thing with the World Cup.
