Private Pool Modern Elegant Contemporary Ranch-Style Home, 5 mins to NASA/Kemah

We had a great stay while visiting friends in Seabrook. The home was clean, spacious, and exactly as shown in the photos. The neighborhood was quiet and the surrounding homes were well-kept. The weather was cooler than expected, so I reached out about heating the pool and the host provided the details and cost. It wasn't cheap, but it was worth the price so the kids could enjoy the pool. The host was also always quick to respond and easy to work with. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at this house. It was perfect. Very clean and neat. Everything was labeled. All the rooms were away from the living area which was nice with kids. We used the pool and pool cleaners came during our visit to make it even cleaner. Nice area. We felt very safe in this neighborhood. We travelled between Houston and Galveston so it was the perfect location. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to other!

Pet friendly, close to GWL & Kemah boardwalk for our Christmas vacation. We had no issues with communication from the owners. We couldnt utilize the pool as we didn't pay extra for heating it but it was still very clean and well maintained & we will be keeping this home in mind during warmer weather.

I have nothing but nice things to say about this property/owner. Our stay was for the week of the 4th of july 2024. First of all we were sent the check in details as soon as we asked about them to help prepare for our trip. Check in was easy. The house was immaculately clean and gorgeous. The photos do not do it justice. The furniture was all so cozy. The kitchwn was well stocked even by our cajun family standards. Owners response time was nearly immediately every time we reached out. There was a issue with one of the tvs and within an hour there was a brand new tv on the front porch. The pool was so much nicer than anticipated. We were surprised to find that there was a very nice deep end in the pool. It was very clean and there is a chiller/heater available for an extra fee upon request. You cant go wrong choosing this home for your next vacation.

We rent a lot of houses for vacations, and this is the cleanest one we have ever stayed in. The home itself is beautiful, in a lovely neighborhood, and is largely handicap accessible. The kitchen is provisioned well enough that I believe one could prepare a holiday feast in it. That said, it wasn't ideal for children, and the owners are clueless at best and blatantly deceptive at worst. The sectional sofa doesn't actually connect in several places, which means it comes apart when you try to sit in it. I tried to connect it, but it is actually missing the hardware necessary to do so. Everything is labeled well, but even so, it was hard to find the light switches to the lights I wanted to turn on and off. Also, there is at least one remote in every room (the fan, the TV) and with children, I was nervous about losing one. There is nothing to do *in* the house (games, books, etc). They did not advertise any, but it seemed strange. Finally, while the owners assured me the pool could be heated before I booked it, they refused to do so. The heated pool was 100% of the reason why we booked the house, and the water was too cold for us to use it. When I asked them to turn on the heater, they informed me it was $200 extra and it took 48 hours to heat. I asked them to turn on the heat and tell me how to pay the $200, and they stopped responding to me. I have screenshots of all of our conversations, photos of the heater off, but only 1500 characters for this review.

Just a family of Wisconsinites who came down to see some family and beat the winter weather. The house was beautiful and perfectly accommodated the whole family. The pool was clean and the highlight of the weekend for the kids. I was able to send text messages to the owner and he responded very quicky for the few questions i had. we stayed for 4 nights and everything was perfect and we would absolutely rent from these owners again.

The house was perfect for the adult siblings/spouses to gather for some time together. The location is perfect for a trip to tour the Space Center or a day trip to Galveston. The hosts were quick to answer texts with questions.

The home is absolutely gorgeous!! Exactly as pictured and even more impressive in person. It really felt welcoming and is great for hosting a family. I give it 10/5 (I love the property this much) and definitely would rent again.

Short getaway from life.

I am giving this stay four stars. I love the location. It is close to the Boardwalk which was the most important thing on my list. I was totally satisfied with the cleanliness of the inside of the house. They had everything we (6 ladies) needed to cook with in the kitchen. I loved the master bedroom and bathroom. There is absolutely nothing to negative to say about the inside. It was decorated to perfection. Unfortunately, we were looking forward to just sitting with our feet in the pool and having a few drinks. The pool was so dirty we couldn't stand to look at it. There were broken lawn chairs out front and large empty boxes outside of the gate. The back lawn needed to be cleaned. I don't understand why owners don't maintain the lawns. It is very important to me. It was really hot, so it wasn't a major problem. We all agreed we were disappointed in the backyard. Why advertise a pool that nobody can use? My only suggestion to the owner is pay someone to clean your pool and maintain your backyard. It will make a world of difference.

A nice and well furnished home and very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and the house was decorated nicely and the pool was crystal clean!

This home was perfect for my family. It was in an ideal location for visiting the Kemah Boardwalk and NASA. It was also far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city. When we weren’t visiting the zoo, Natural History Museum, Children’s Museum, or site seeing, we relaxed and played by the pool. This is a fantastic updated property. We hope to stay again!

The house is beautiful! Very comfortable and open. The only downside is that the pool was dirty when we arrived but from the great communication from the owners it was fixed the next day. My niece really enjoyed her prom and 18th birthday staying at this property.

This property was perfect for our family's annual "escape the cold" getaway. The house was large enough for the 6 adults and 7 year old to have space and the neighborhood is quiet with friendly neighbors. It is near sites we wanted to visit and near shops and a variety of eating places. The pool was fun and the patio was perfect for relaxation time. 2 thumbs up!

Plenty of room for the family. Clean and close to everything we were looking for.

Most of the star ratings don’t apply because we didn’t actually get to see the property. Gave us the wrong address. Said calendars got mixed up. Then Cancelled on us last minute, said there was damage they had to repair. Was all very confusing. We only made the reservation a couple of days prior to our planned visit. Only good thing I can say is they refunded us promptly.

Property Manager was timely and very courteous. The home was in amazing condition and was well equipped for our stay. 10 out of 10 recommend!

Our stay was wonderful. The house is located in a very quiet, well-kept neighborhood and is very close to restaurants, shopping, etc., and NASA. I can't say enough about the comfort and convenience of the rental and the owner's attention to every detail for making our visit extraordinary.

This house is exactly as it is listed. Newly renovated, clean, has everything you need to have a good time and a nice stay. Quiet neighborhood. Close to NASA and Kemah Boardwalk. Will definitely stay here again.

Pool was great

Beautiful home with a totally enclosed yard with an outstanding private pool; quietest of quiet neighborhoods but still close to all the action. Owners are acceptionally easy to work with and answered all our questions before arrival. 30 minute drive to Galveston. Speaking as an experienced traveler and user of VRBO, this property ranks amongst the best we've ever used.

My husband and I with our children and grandchildren rented this amazing house for Labor Day weekend. The pool was the place to be for us but the entire house was super nice and we were shocked that the owners checked to make sure everything was well each day. I would advise this house to any family.
