We liked the thought the hosts put into making the stay comfortable; the general layout was clean and neat. The rooms are a decent size. Communication about key collection was excellent. This property has potential for good reviews; the location was perfect for what we needed and close to buses. They provided clean towels and basic bathroom supplies, which was lovely.

Our stay: 6/10. We understand that guests have different expectations and experiences, but for us, the property did not feel as exceptional as some reviews suggested. We appreciated the hosts’ communication and the thought put into the accommodation, but we felt that some areas needed more attention to reach the standard reflected in the highest ratings. We have a few suggestions that we hope will help enhance the experience for future guests. The property would benefit from extra attention to cleaning and minor maintenance. The windows need cleaning, and the carpets and sofa in the downstairs TV room could use a thorough steam clean. Sweeping and weeding the area outside the front door would create a much more welcoming first impression. A few things need mentioning: The toilet seat wasn't properly secured, and the shower is a handheld attachment rather than a fixed shower, which wasn't quite what we expected. Parking is free, however, you have to find a space on the road outside. Overall, these are all relatively minor issues that could be addressed quite easily and would make a noticeable difference to future guests' experience.
