About this apartment rental
Enjoy your vacation at our idyllically situated old farmhouse on Rügen, surrounded by nature and far away from the stress and noise of the city! Enjoy the wonderful peace and quiet—whether with a good book on the sunny balcony or in the evening with a glass of wine, listening to the gentle splashing of the fountain in the background. The farm is situated in a secluded location at the end of a residential street, right on the Baltic Sea coast with a view of the lighthouses at Cape Arkona, set in a large garden filled with flowering plants and fruit trees.
The Accommodation
The beautiful “Riesenberg” vacation apartment, featuring old half-timbered beams on the first floor of the farmhouse, boasts a vine-covered terrace with direct access to the large garden—an ideal apartment for a family with small children. There, you can relax in the partial shade of the old pear tree and enjoy the magnificent view of the sea. From the spacious dining room, you can look out onto the rose beds and the courtyard fountain. The living/dining area is perfect for social gatherings. The large bedrooms also have space for a child’s bed or guest bed and are ideal for an extra bed.
You are welcome to book towels (1 large & 2 small towels) and bedding (duvet cover and sheets) in addition to your reservation or bring your own. The cost for these items is not included in the rates listed here. Please let us know if you’d like to book additional bed linens and towels through us.
We have other apartments of various sizes on the property, which you can also find here. The property itself has a large garden that you’re welcome to use. We have a barbecue area there and, of course, patio furniture. For the little ones, there’s a large playground with a slide, seesaw, swing, sandbox, and trampoline. Next door, there’s a soccer goal for a quick game, as well as a volleyball net and a basketball hoop.
Guest Access
In addition to the apartment, you can use the entire huge garden surrounding the buildings. And simply enjoy your time in nature. If you’re in the mood for a little wellness, you have the option to rent our sauna privately for yourself. Please simply contact our property management.
Additional important information
The vacation apartment is equipped with a basic supply of toilet paper, 3 dishwasher tablets, dish soap, dish towels, and cleaning rags.
The municipality of Putgarten charges a lodging tax:
High season (May 1 through September 30 of the current year) standard: €1.50 / reduced: €1.00
Off-season (October 1 through April 30 of the current year) standard: €1.00 / reduced: €0.50
This fee is charged in addition to the rental price.
