This high-quality vacation apartment is located in the sophisticated North Sea spa town of Cuxhaven/Duhnen, which is affectionately known as the “Gateway to the Wide World” due to its impressive location.
The North Sea spa town of Cuxhaven/Duhnen has a lot to offer: Among other things, you’ll find a kilometer-long sandy beach, a beautiful beach and spa promenade, many hiking and walking trails, a well-marked network of bike paths, and, of course, the vast Wadden Sea along the German North Sea coast.
Our “Wellness Vacation Rental Meeresrauschen” is located in an attractive and quiet setting, very close to the center of Duhnen and the fine-sand North Sea beach. Right behind the house, you can step straight into the expansive natural beauty of the coastal landscape!
The “Wellness Vacation Rental Meeresrauschen” was completely refurbished in the spring of 2021 and equipped with high-quality, comfortable amenities to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
When furnishing our apartment, we placed special emphasis on wellness and relaxation.
Another special feature is the impressive size of our apartment—a total of approximately 76 square meters—spread across two levels (mezzanine and basement). This gives you more than enough space for an undisturbed vacation, allowing you to really spread out in your “vacation haven.”
Thanks to its ideal layout, the apartment is particularly well-suited for vacation rentals, as the living and sleeping areas are optimally separated from one another. This also makes it easy for families with children or groups of vacationers to stay here —since the “night owls” won’t disturb the “early sleepers,” and conversely, the “late risers” won’t be woken up by the “early birds”…
​However, this type of layout is only possible in a relatively large apartment that spans two levels—and this is relatively rare in vacation rentals.
Typically, vacation rentals are often quite small and usually feature only functional “standard amenities” modeled after the standards of small hotel rooms.
This had often bothered the owners during their own vacations, so they wanted to do things differently—and, above all, better—in their own vacation rental.
That’s why they deliberately chose this spacious apartment and furnished it so that vacationers would feel right at home from the very start!
The “Wellness Vacation Rental Meeresrauschen” features, among other things, a large living/dining room (including a sleeper sofa) with a modern and fully equipped kitchen, 2 separate bedrooms, a TV with an extendable TV arm, a small stereo system, a high-quality bathroom, a small storage room, and a furnished balcony.
In addition, during the summer months (approximately May through October, depending on the beach chair rental company and the city of Cuxhaven), your own free beach chair will be waiting for you right on the beach!

A special highlight—the Shiatsu massage chair
​This massage chair is also an absolute luxury model that cannot be compared in any way to conventional models
For example, to ensure a perfect massage, your body is scanned using optical sensors before the session begins so that you can be massaged exactly where you need it.
According to the manufacturer’s specifications and various test reports, you’ll hardly be able to tell the difference between this massage and one given by a “real massage therapist.”
By the way, you can conveniently control all functions using a remote control.
