Today, the historic cottage blends classic character with thoughtful modern upgrades, panoramic lake views, a private hot tub perched above the water, expansive decking, and direct lake access.

THE SPACE
The living spaces blend the character of the original 1938 cottage with modern updates and a refined mountain feel. Bamboo wood flooring, warm finishes, picture windows, and lake views throughout create a cozy but elevated setting for relaxing by the water.

The fully equipped kitchen features a Wolf range and oven, Frigidaire refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, K-Cup coffee maker, and everything needed for simple meals at the cottage.

The primary bedroom features a Queen bed, vaulted ceiling, and private ensuite bathroom with a soaking tub. The loft bedroom includes a California King bed, providing a comfortable second sleeping space overlooking the home.

Outside, the setting is what makes Lakefront Cottage truly special. The private hot tub is dramatically positioned above the lake on a natural 40-foot boulder, creating sweeping 180° water views. A custom staircase carved into the stone leads down to the private lakeside deck, outdoor shower, and direct lake access.

The outdoor spaces also include a gas fire pit, automatic retractable awning, seating areas, and multiple places to relax while taking in the Boulder Bay scenery.

Pet Policy
This home is not pet-friendly. Guests traveling with pets are welcome to explore our pet-friendly Big Bear Lakefront Cabins properties. Unauthorized animals may result in additional cleaning charges of up to $250.

Baby Equipment
A Pack 'n Play and highchair are available upon request for a delivery and pickup fee. Please arrange in advance.

All homes come with cozy blankets, fresh towels & linens. Our dedicated cleaning crew has prepared this vacation home for your arrival & will clean upon your departure.

Kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with basic cookware, dishes, utensils, and standard kitchen essentials, making it enjoyable to prepare meals during your stay. Food and pantry staples are not supplied.

What we provide
Basic essentials for the kitchen, linens, towels, bar soap, shampoo, and conditioner are provided.

Lake Access
Guests may enjoy direct lakefront access and use of the private dock, subject to current lake conditions and seasonal water levels. The dock is not currently deep enough for reliable boating access. Water levels may affect dock use and maneuvering nearby, and the dock may not accommodate all boats.


GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICY
Guests must comply with Big Bear Lake's Good Neighbor Policy and applicable local vacation rental regulations.
Quiet hours begin at 10 PM throughout Big Bear
