This was our 2nd year staying at this property. The views of the lake from the cabin cannot be beat. We love the quiet location, and it’s just a short walk to Boulder Beach. The owners Linda and Norman are so thoughtful and the cabin has everything we need for a great vacation. We cannot wait to come again.

House was a little worn out. Sliding glass doors and screens were just terrible, could not even lock one, which made the home unsecured. Views were outstanding. The hosts Norman and Linda were wonderful.

We had a lovely family vacation to celebrate my mom’s 80th birthday and my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary this past July. The location is wonderful! The lake was in our own backyard. We brought our paddle board and enjoyed walking down the rock steps with easy access to the water every day. We also ate all our meal at the cabin. Not many restaurants have this view. The cabin was very clean but could use a handyman to fix a few things. The owners, Linda and Norman, are very nice and brought flowers, wine and a cards for my parents. Overall, we would recommend this cabin on the lake.

After a stressful week, my wife and I stayed at this beautiful Lakeside home. The views from the two decks overlooking the lake were absolutely incredible. We were relaxed and comfortable from the moment we walked in. Norman and Linda were wonderful when they stopped by to drop off some flowers and a bottle of wine. We can't wait to visit again!! Shawn

Boulder Bay is one of the best places to swim and play in Big Bear, and this house is ON the actual boulder! It’s easy to walk out the back door and launch a kayak/paddle board/tube from there! The house is nice, clean and spacious, but if we return, it will be for the location! I dot think there is a better location on the lake!

My daughter and I hosted a brand photo shoot for our wedding planning and design business that also served as a girls trip. The property was perfect! From the white glove service welcome (the owners brought wine and flowers and did a walk through for us) to the unbelievably perfect views this house and stay was amazing. Enough space for 5 women to be social and find some quiet time alone. Love love love!

The location of this property is perfect, tucked into the boulders. It is so quiet and peaceful. We caught many amazing sunsets from the balcony. Boulder Bay beach is a short walk away, which was great when traveling with kids. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The hosts, Linda and Norman, are so sweet. They met us shortly after our arrival with flowers and wine(and they even sent me a birthday card!) They are very responsive and gave some great suggestions for places to go in the area. We enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again

This place was simply perfect! The multiple views were amazing! The pictures don’t do justice! The house was comfortable. Equipped with all you’ll need. The temperature was easily adjustable to preference. The property owner greeted us with flowers and wine which was a pleasant and welcoming surprise. There is plenty of space for comfort. The dinning area has large windows with an open view of the lake. The bed was super comfy for a good nights sleep. The patio hot tub is perfect for day to enjoy the beautiful lake front view and it’s perfect for night time to sip on a glass of wine to help you unwind! The water is hot enough to keep you toasty. In addition the owners were super nice, they accommodated all our requests! If I could give 10 stars, I totally would! We can’t wait to come back! Thank you to our hosts for making our stay so pleasant and being so accommodating and welcoming! Highly recommend this place for your stay!

We loved everything about it: the view of the gorgeous lake from all rooms, jacuzzi on the deck, great fireplace, super relaxing feel and comfort in the house, etc. The owners welcomed us personally bearing gifts of wine & flowers and took the time to answer any & all questions we had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfectly situated - close to hikes & the village itself yet private peaceful area. We recommend it highly & hope to stay again soon! We were here in the fall and the weather and colored leaves were wonderful!

We arrived early, the cabin was ready, and Norman came over to meet us. He was so nice, totally cool, and very informative. He gave us restaurant recommendations (we took his advice on 3 restaurants and all were awesome), and he saved us by giving us alternate directions to the Ontario airport. The house was perfect for us, we used the fireplace every night, the spa was heated to perfection, and the bbq was awesome. We loved it! We could walk to the store and breakfast place, and we our back “yard” was literally on the lake.

The location and surroundings of the home are good for the soul. The house is nestled among the rocks in Boulder Bay and close to shopping, amazing hikes and all that Big Bear has to offer. Five of us (girl's trip!) had a wonderful time at the property. There is a perfect place to launch paddle boards from the shore. We did morning yoga on the deck and enjoyed the hot tub at night. Linda and Norman are wonderful hosts and very responsive. They met us upon arrival with flowers and wine (so thoughtful) and for a quick overview of the home. On the second night the hot tub wasn't heating fully, so we called in the morning and Norman was there within a hour to fix (worked great after that). The home could use a little TLC, however the location and price can't be beat. We had a wonderful stay and would come back again.

The location could not have been more perfect - gorgeous views right on the lake! The hosts could not have been more accommodating or more kind - two very lovely people. It was my younger sister's birthday getaway, and they brought her flowers, card, and wine, and then followed up with a personalized, digital birthday birthday card featuring Donny Osmond :) We look forward to returning.
