Helford boasts a lovely waterfront pub, which serves local food and ales. Just a short stroll away is the centre of Manaccan, with its thatched cottages and village pub. The area is popular for sailing, water sports, kayaking and fishing, all within easy reach. The Lizard Peninsula is a secret haven of glorious beaches and pretty villages with colourful cottages. Stunning Kynance Cove is only a 15-minute drive away, or visit the lighthouse at The Lizard Peninsula, the UK’s most southerly point. Coverack, St Kevern and Mullion Cove are all well worth a visit and are within easy reach.
Cundurrow Cottage makes the perfect base from which to explore all that south Cornwall has to offer. The cottage provides comfortable and cosy accommodation with a good-sized kitchen, and a beamed living room and a dining room with warming wood burners. French doors lead from the living room out onto a large, enclosed garden, backing onto fields, making the perfect place to unwind in after a day’s exploring. Opposite the cottage is a working farm, where children and visitors will be welcome to meet the animals and see the cows being milked (available on request). Beach 1 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
