OUTDOOR SPACES
The outdoors is where The Crag truly shines, acting as your own private gateway to the National Park. The centerpiece is the massive scenic deck, built upon the granite ledges provide you an expansive, secluded oasis set against a backdrop of wild Maine woods, meaning your backyard is Acadia. The deck is fully equipped with a high quality gas grill and plenty of seating, making it the ultimate chill out spot for sunset dinners and relaxation.
Just off the deck, the natural rocky yard features a Solo Stove fire pit nestled among the trees giving you the perfect spot for stargazing or roasting s'mores just steps from the park boundary.
And because you are only 0.2 miles from the Cadillac Mountain South Ridge trailhead, the transition from your morning coffee to the summit of Acadia is as simple as walking out the back door!
ATTENTION OTHER THINGS TO NOTE!
The Crag’s vertical design features three levels. Guests ascend the main stairs from the entry to reach the "Social Heart," then the "Sky Passage" to reach the "Summit." This layout may be a hurdle for those with limited mobility. A ramp from the deck provides easier access to the forest fire pit. The third-floor suite is an architectural loft open to its private landing. Natural forest canopy and provided fans ensure a cool, comfortable mountain retreat without central AC.
This is the perfect place to unplug and recharge and while high speed Wi-Fi is provided for all your streaming and navigation needs, please note that cell service in the village is often very spotty and weak.
