Wonderful bike rides along secluded countryand country roads, as well as wonderful excursions to the North Sea and nearby nature and recreation areas, await you! The very popular Tannenhausen swimming lake is about 6 kilometers away. During the swimming season, the lake—which is supervised by the DLRG—offers beach volleyball, water games, aerobics, beach soccer, arts and crafts sessions, movie nights, soccer practice, night hikes, and other recreational activities. Refreshments are available at the kiosk or snack bar. Showers and restrooms are available on the lake’s beach, as well as pedal boat and bicycle rentals. Our location is ideal for walks, bike rides, and all kinds of explorations of East Frisia’s unique and diverse natural landscape.
