About this space

Two private bedrooms, private lounge and private bathroom on the first floor of my home (I live on the ground floor), a short walk from Hove seafront and central Hove.

FREE off-street parking included (rare for Brighton & Hove).

Ideal for families, couples, professionals and small groups seeking a peaceful base near the beach, cafés, restaurants and Brighton city centre.

The beach is around a 5-minute walk away, with swimming, beach sports, cafés, watersports and coastal walks nearby.

The space

You will have exclusive use of the entire first floor, including:

* Bedroom 1 with super-king bed (sleeps 2)
* Bedroom 2 with M-shaped triple bunk bed (sleeps up to 3)
* Private lounge with dining table, sofa, TV and south-facing views
* Private bathroom with walk-in shower and separate bath

The lounge also includes:

* Fridge/freezer
* Microwave
* Kettle
* Toaster
* Plates, mugs, glasses and cutlery

Please note there is no kitchen, food preparation area or cooking facilities.

There are also no laundry facilities available for guest use.

The house is a traditional 1930s home and I live on the ground floor. As with many character homes of this age, some normal day-to-day household sound between floors may occasionally be heard, although the home is generally peaceful and quiet.

Bedroom doors have locks for additional privacy if preferred.

A third bedroom upstairs remains locked and is not part of the guest accommodation.

Guest access

Guests access the property through a shared front entrance and staircase, but the upstairs area is otherwise private.

Please note:

* No access to downstairs living areas
* Shoes/coats can be left in the designated entrance area
* There is a doorbell camera at the property

One off-street parking space is available.

If you plan to arrive by car, please confirm when booking so the space can be reserved for you.

If you require additional parking, please enquire before booking.

Location

The property is located in a peaceful conservation area close to central Hove.

Walking distances approximately:

* Beach & seafront: 5 mins
* Central Hove / Church Road cafés & restaurants: 5–10 mins
* Hove Station: 20 mins
* Central Brighton: around 30 mins

There are frequent buses nearby connecting Hove, Brighton and Portslade.

Brighton bike hire is also available opposite the property near Hove Museum.
