About this house rental
This cozy vacation rental with a great layout is located right on the Cuxhaven Coastal Heath along the North Sea.
The Accommodation:
Both bedrooms are equipped with blackout blinds; bedroom 2 also has an exterior venetian blind.
The kitchen is fully equipped with, among other things, a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, induction stove, coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, etc.
Bedding and towels are included.
Also available are an iron, ironing board, clothes rack, and vacuum cleaner.
Furthermore, the apartment features patio furniture, a trampoline, and a slide.
The apartment was renovated in July 2017 and has been continuously modernized since then.
It is located on the 1st floor of our building and is accessible via a separate outdoor staircase.
Amenities also include free Wi-Fi.
Pets are not allowed.
Cuxhaven is famous for its beaches and the mudflat boat trips to the island of Neuwerk.
You can also take a boat here to Helgoland, Germany’s only offshore island.
In the immediate vicinity, cycling and hiking trails wind through the Cuxhaven coastal heathland all the way to Cuxhaven’s other spa areas with beaches.
The “Hohe Klint” golf course is also about a 10-minute drive away.
Shopping options (bakeries, supermarkets) and ATMs are within walking distance.
The center of Cuxhaven is about 5 km away, the harbor about 6 km, the sandy beach at Duhnen about 10 km, the sandy beach in Sahlenburg and the grassy beach in Grimmershörn Bay each about 7 km—all of which can be reached quickly and easily by car or bicycle.
There is also a bus stop in the immediate vicinity, so the bus can be used as well.
Bremerhaven, with its attractions (Klimahaus, Auswandererhaus, zoo, etc.), is about a 30-minute drive away.
Upon completion of a booking or contract, the prospective guest agrees to all the terms and conditions listed.
Additional important information:
A foldable handcart can be rented for €5 per day.
A visitor’s tax is charged separately.
Starting in 2026, the visitor’s tax will be €3.30 per person during the high season and €2.90 per person during the low season per night; it is collected separately by the city and billed by me.
These charges are billed separately and can be paid on-site in cash, by bank transfer, or via PayPal.
A wallbox (charging capacity up to 11 kW) without a charging cable can be used at cost, currently 30 cents/kWh.
Charging and billing are handled via a special RFID chip.
