The cottage sleeps five people and has a double bedroom, a twin room, a single and a family bathroom. On the ground floor is a fitted kitchen, a dining room, a sitting room and a conservatory. Outside is a lawned garden and roadside parking. With the town's market square just a couple of minutes' walk away, Ivy Cottage is a superb base for a holiday in this magnificent part of Yorkshire.Note:Seven night bookings must start on a Saturday. We have been to Helmsley many times as my sister lived there for a few years. Since she moved back south we have been looking for somewhere to stay there. Ivy cottage ticked all the boxes. It is a lovely house in a perfect position with everything you could need.

Lovely calm and relaxing cottage which is very well equipped, in an excellent location just a few minutes walk from the centre of the village. Only thing I would change would be to swap out the double for a king as there is room in the master bedroom.
