About this cottage rental
Stroll down to the beach or walk out along the Norfolk Coast Path from this exquisite cottage in Mundesley. Sleeping just two guests, the charming one-bedroom bolthole is just 250 metres from the sand and makes a perfect hideaway for a couple, especially if they are hoping to bring a four-legged friend. With pretty period features, a wood burner and a courtyard garden, this is a great year-round choice.
Step into the red-brick retreat and find yourselves in a lovely lounge/diner, with a wooden floor at one end and an abundance of cheerful colour. Settle on the sofas in the lounge area after your exciting days out together. Light the wood burner if it is chilly and find a good film on the Smart TV with Sky TV to cuddle up in front of. Relax with your book in the rocking chair in the dining space and set the table up here for a romantic, candle-lit dinner for two. The kitchen, which has French doors on to the garden has been cleverly arranged with everything you might possibly need when catering for yourselves during your Norfolk holiday. As each day draws to a close, climb the open-tread, wooden stairs up to the top floor to savour a superb sleep in the delightful double bedroom. The family bathroom is also at this level. Bask outside in the sunshine and sea air on warm days. Light the BBQ and open a bottle of wine. Like the house, this space has a gentle seaside theme.
Lace up your walking boots and strike out along the coast path to Overstrand, 6 miles away. This picture-postcard village was a popular holiday destination in Victorian times. Venture 7.5 miles into Cromer to try the town’s famous crab, walk out along the pier and spend time on the sandy beach.
