La Bonne Étoile, large fisherman's cottage - 120 m² - Enclosed garden - Ambleteuse

This is our family home in Ambleteuse, which we rent out when we're not there. A large fisherman's cottage, carefully renovated in 2024, on a quiet street in the village, a 10-15 minute walk (1.1 km) from the beach and the Vauban fort. We've included what we ourselves like to find in rentals: space, a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of games, and an enclosed garden where children can run around. On the first floor, the large open-plan living area with exposed beams—open kitchen, dining room, and lounge—opens onto the terrace and garden: it's the heart of the house. A double bedroom with en-suite shower room, a small living room with sofa bed, TV and games for children, a hallway with foosball and washing machine, and a separate WC. Upstairs: a dormitory with four single beds, a bedroom with two single beds, a bathroom with bathtub, and a separate WC. Eight beds in total (ten with the sofa bed downstairs). Outside, the wooden terrace and the enclosed 200 m² garden take over as soon as the weather permits — barbecue, deckchairs, slide for children. The gate allows you to park cars on the property. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we did. A few words for those who don't know Ambleteuse: it's a small fishing village between Wimereux and Cap Gris-Nez, still peaceful even in August. The seawall and the beach—stones and pebbles, but sand exposed at low tide—are less than a 15-minute walk away, and you can still park your car there even in the height of summer. From the house, you can walk to Pointe aux Oies or Audresselles, or cycle to Wimereux and Wissant in a magnificent setting. The Slack dunes, just beyond the village, are well worth exploring.
