High-quality pool villa in local style, tranquilly located near Tavira

Villa Sossego from "visit-eastalgarve":
Villa Sossego has only been available for rent since February 2026. It is located in the peaceful hills of the Eastern Algarve, just a few minutes from the village of Santo Estêvão. Its elevated location offers sweeping views across the green countryside to the Atlantic coast and the Ria Formosa. The surroundings are rural and very peaceful, yet Tavira, beaches, and golf courses are just a short drive away via well-maintained roads.
The property blends harmoniously into its natural surroundings. Surrounding the house are several terraces, some covered, offering both sunny and sheltered seating areas. The spacious outdoor area features two dining tables, various lounge areas, and a well-maintained pool with sunbathing areas, an outdoor shower, a restroom, a refrigerator room, and a grill. The combination of tranquility, views, and comfortable amenities makes the outdoor area a central gathering spot.
Inside, three patio doors lead into the kitchen and the open-concept living area. The kitchen is well-equipped and features a small dining table as well as an adjacent pantry. The living area features a large panoramic window, a wood-burning stove, air conditioning, a TV, and internet access. The design is bright, welcoming, and focused on comfort.
The main house features two bedrooms, each with air conditioning, a fan, storage space, and an en suite bathroom with a shower. The eastern wing of the house has direct access to the terrace. Two additional bedrooms with en suite bathrooms can be booked separately if needed; they are located near the pool area and also feature air conditioning and fans.
Warm lighting, natural materials, and a clean design characterize the entire property. Villa Sossego offers tranquility, comfort, and an ideal base from which to explore the Eastern Algarve at a leisurely pace—from the beaches of the Sandalgarve to the historic center of Tavira.
