The house is situated in a quiet location in the so-called Jermerstein neighborhood, about 100 meters from the edge of the forest.
Hiking trails begin right behind the house, including a beautiful trail leading to the Jermerstein, after which the neighborhood is named.
The Harzer Hexenstieg, one of the most famous and scenic hiking trails in the Harz Mountains, also passes right by the house.
It’s a 10-minute walk to the valley station of the Wurmberg aerial cableway, which leads to the Wurmberg, the highest mountain in Lower Saxony.
It’s about a 15-minute walk to the city center. The Braunlage toboggan run and the Braunlage cross-country ski trail are about a 10-minute walk away.
Kriens Vacation Apartment:
This approximately 70-square-meter, 3-room vacation apartment is located on the mezzanine level of a multi-unit building. It features a 6-square-meter balcony facing southwest. The apartment’s private parking space is located right next to the building. A table tennis room and a storage room for skis and sleds are also available there. The vacation apartment has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. The separate kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner stove, oven, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, and electric kettle. The living/dining room features a dining area and a couch with an armchair, and it opens onto the balcony. The modern bathroom includes a shower and a toilet. Please note that the property does not have Wi-Fi.
On-site fees: Payment must be made in advance via bank transfer. Cancellations made up to 5 days before arrival are free of charge; cancellations made within 5 days of arrival will be charged at 100% of the total cost. Check-in is available from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Check-out is by 10:00 a.m. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Please contact us in a timely manner to make arrangements if necessary. Keys will be handed over in person on-site. Pets are not allowed. A visitor’s tax of €3.05 per person per night will be charged in addition. Other applicable fees: Bed linens and towels can be reserved in advance for a fee of €5 per set or brought along by the guest.
