Beautiful property! Very clean and my host was so considerate.

The host has a guest who was considerate; however, he took advantage of my daughter when she went to the store. He got her to pay for his items…. Very off. I was not comfortable after that. The host ate the food that we cooked as well. I will not revisit again, but I was grateful to be there for personal reasons only.

I stayed 5 nights. Wallace is a generous and friendly host. He was helpful by offering some transportation and even a couple of unexpected meals. This is a great place, especially for the solo traveller open to meeting others. There are 3 rooms, which means you might meet interning people. In my case, I met a fellow who was open to showing me the city and several of the hiking trails that reveal the magnificent coastal landscape. This made a great stay even better and more memorable. I would stay here again if the opportunity comes.

Wallace is a fantastic host and this place exceeded expectations for a mid-to-long stay. The executive room was my own private suite - half-bath, mini fridge, space heater, closet, and tons of storage. You may get the opportunity to meet other travelers, as Wallace has other rooms too, and it adds a great communal energy without sacrificing privacy. I met a fellow traveler, Gage, and we became fast friends, with some of highlights of my trip being exploring Signal Hill or Cape Spear or even just hanging out in the living room. The shared kitchen is well-stocked with every spice and seasoning known to mankind, and the living room, foyer, and patio (great for fires in winter, barbecues in summer) make the whole place feel homey. Wallace gives you total independence but is always happy to chat and help if you seek him out. He's definitely gone a couple of extra miles driving me around! Location is unbeatable: 8-15 minutes from most of town, 5 minutes to Quidi Vidi breweries, 8 minutes to the airport, and walkable for morning Tim Hortons runs or grabbing essentials. Highly recommend!
