The property was very modern, well kept and had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It was very well equipped, with amenities including a dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, microwave and multiple showers, which made it particularly convenient for a family stay. The enormous balcony was also a great feature and provided plenty of outdoor space to relax. The secure car park was another big positive and gave us peace of mind that our vehicle was safe throughout the stay.

The main issue for us was the noise. During our 10-night stay, there appeared to be several different groups staying in the apartment above. One group of males spent time on the balcony and inside the apartment making considerable noise until around 1:30–2:00am. I did go outside and politely ask them to keep the noise down and, to be fair, they closed the balcony door, although the noise itself did continue. After they left, another family appeared to occupy the apartment above. Again, there was quite a lot of noise late into the night, including what sounded like furniture being moved and chairs being dragged across the floor. The sudden banging was particularly disruptive for our children and woke them on several occasions. The biggest issue for us, however, was the main road directly outside the property. We were aware before booking that the property was located on a road, but we had not appreciated just how busy it would be, particularly during the night. There were frequent motorbikes travelling up and down the road with extremely loud exhausts, sometimes well into the early hours, which woke us on several occasions. We fully appreciate that much of the above is beyond the control of the property owners and does not reflect negatively on them, particularly as they were very professional and helpful throughout all of our communication. A much more minor issue was that the property did not have a hoover, which meant sweeping and mopping were our only options for keeping the floors clean. We appreciate that this may simply be because the property is fully tiled and many people may not feel a hoover is necessary; however, as a family, we would normally hoover first and then mop, and we found sweeping alone never quite removed everything and could be quite time-consuming. This was only a small inconvenience compared with the noise issues above.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Het appartement was schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. De ruime keuken was ideaal, zeker omdat we met zeven personen waren. Er was genoeg ruimte om tegelijk ontbijt of avondeten klaar te maken, waardoor we vaak in het appartement hebben gegeten. En snel omdat iedereen tegelijk zijn haar brood kan maken. Alles was goed schoon en netjes onderhouden. Alleen de glazen van het terras waren wat stoffig, maar dat komt waarschijnlijk door de vele stof in Cyprus. De wifi was goed en werkte prima, ook als meerdere personen tegelijk verbonden waren. Alleen in de twee achterste slaapkamers was het bereik iets minder. Voor normaal gebruik, zoals appen, was dit geen probleem, maar voor het kijken van een filmpje was de verbinding soms wat minder. Een wifi-versterker zou dit kunnen oplossen. Tijdens ons verblijf van 14 dagen kregen we twee keer schone handdoeken en beddengoed. Ondanks dat er een wasmachine aanwezig was, vonden we dit een fijne extra service. De ligging van het appartement is ideaal. Binnen ongeveer 15 minuten rijden bereik je een aantal van de mooiste stranden van Cyprus. Ook Famagusta het Turkse deel van het eiland is goed bereikbaar, waar je heerlijk Turks kunt eten voor een leuke afwisseling(25 minuten rijden). Op slechts 5 minuten lopen vind je een 24 uur geopende winkel waar je terechtkunt voor veel basisbenodigdheden. Daarnaast zijn er op ongeveer 5 minuten loopafstand een grote supermarkt, een bakkerij en een heerlijke patisserie. Alles wat je nodig hebt, is dus lekker dichtbij. Al met al voelde het appartement echt als een tweede thuis. Na een dag op pad te zijn geweest was het heerlijk om hier weer terug te komen. We zouden dit verblijf zeker aanbevelen.

Er waren nog een paar kleine verbeterpunten. In de badkamers misten we een vloertrekker. Na het douchen komt er altijd wat water op de vloer terecht en zonder trekker moesten we dit met een handdoek droogmaken. Daarnaast was het wifi-bereik in de achterste kamers wat minder sterk. Dit zou waarschijnlijk eenvoudig opgelost kunnen worden met een wifi-versterker in de hal bij de slaapkamers. Tot slot waren twee van de vijf terrasdeuren niet voorzien van een sleutel. Dit vonden wij wel een klein minpunt en zou wat ons betreft verbeterd mogen worden.
