Finalmente a casa, Nuovo, Centrale e senza Scale

The apartment was modern, clean and had excellent facilities. We had a fridge/freezer, cooking facilities, a washing machine and the aircon was an absolute life saver. We also had fast and reliable wifi which really helped us planning our days out and also keeping in touch with home. It was located in a safe and quiet area but was still only a few minutes walk to various cafes, restaurants, ice cream parlours, bars and even a local supermarket. Arriving/Departing, you can easily take a bus from the airport to Venice St Lucia and it is only a 5/10min walk from here to the apartment. It was so simple and easy. There are waterbus stops nearby but we pretty much walked everywhere as the island is so small. We did catch the waterbus from St Lucia to Murano and Burano which was pretty busy but still very easy. The hosts were really helpful providing all the info you could ever need before arriving and also helping with any queries or issues while we were there. I'm quite picky when it comes to holiday apartments and I can honestly say that the Gallion Apartment (Finalmente a casa) is pretty much flawless. If you're thinking of booking, honestly just do it! You will not be disappointed. My wife, daughter (16yo) and I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Thank you so much for a truly wonderful stay :-)

The bins/refuse service is awkward but this is the same for all of Venice. Just make sure you know what to do so you don't get caught out. All the info needed is helpfully provided by the host in their welcome details and also in a folder in the apartment. The apartment itself is perfect and there was absolutely nothing for us to complain about at all. We were very sad when it was time to leave.

The apartment was spacious, spotless, and conveniently located just a short walk from the vaporetto stop. The owners were also extremely professional and helpful. They provided detailed information about the apartment, the neighborhood, and check-in instructions ahead of time. They even created a comprehensive guidebook explaining how to use the appliances and other amenities, which made the stay very easy and comfortable.
