key box with pre-agreed code made it simple to gain access. Cottage was compact but light. As a bat spotter the terrain was ideal of an evening for a wander outside.
Finding the property proved irksome. 3 times we used the right road only to convince ourselves something was amiss so it must be another entrance we needed. Better signage to the property would definitely help. I understand we aren't alone in having had such difficulty. We lost well over an hour in the cottage as a result. That was probably the only negative.

I liked that the area was quiet and clean. The cottage is a decent size for 4 people and has everything one may need. I liked that the furniture is new and it looks newly renovated.
The sofa has a lot of hair seemingly for a dog which was very unpleasant. Two of the towels provided had something like dust and cobwebs on them which was also quite unpleasant. The walls are very thin and we could hear our neighbours as well as almost every sound made in other rooms.

Surrounding location of the cottages was great, easy to drive to Brecon Beacons, or Gower peninsula. Near to a good food pub and various shops.
Drive up the farm track was terrible, multiple potholes, arriving at a run down barn, and generally scruffy part of the farm. The 'cottage" was surrounded by a large barn on one side, and fenced in at the back. No view, nowhere to sit out other than in front of the building looking at a grey barn wall. The back would have been better but no privacy either way.
No TV and terrible internet. Fine if you are expecting that but not ideal with a teenager. Could do with a few more kitchen utensils and cooking equipment.
