A stunning barn conversion finished to an exceptionally high standard, with thoughtful touches throughout that make it feel truly like a home away from home. As a family, we couldn't fault a single thing.
We visited primarily to explore Beamish Museum and the surrounding area — and the location proved just as impressive as the property itself. The museum is within walking distance, which was a real bonus.
Just opposite, we discovered a wonderful pub: great beer, delicious food, and an outdoor play area that kept the kids thoroughly entertained. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and their care and attention is evident in every detail of the space.
We'd recommend this property without hesitation and have absolutely no doubt we'll be returning. A huge well done to the hosts for creating somewhere so special.
