The apartment is quite new, so there were absolutely no issues with anything. Almost everything was new. It was obviously professionally remodeled inside an older building. There were no issues with the build quality, and modern materials were used throughout. The apartment was super clean; I only had to get rid of two spiders and a few small flies. The only downside was the fairly narrow staircase leading up to the third floor. It could benefit from occasional vacuuming, as there were a few spiders. Keyless entry, which is nice and easy as long as you remember the codes. There is no air conditioning, but the apartment remained comfortable even when the outside temperature reached around 25°C (77°F). However, since it is on the top floor, it could become quite warm during hotter weather. The apartment is located in the middle of a residential neighborhood, which seemed peaceful and quiet. It's about a 15-minute walk to Lidl or Aldi, and approximately a one-hour walk to Koblenz's old town. The apartment was fairly quiet. There were guests staying in the two apartments below, but we didn't hear any noise from them. We could hear faint sounds from the neighboring house through the bathroom wall, but only when t It can be quite difficult to find a parking space nearby. As a foreigner, I wasn't familiar with all the local parking rules, so it took me a while to find a legal parking spot. There is a parking area within 100 meters of the apartment, but it's usually full, and part of it requires a parking disc during the day, with a maximum stay of one hour. I also saw parking enforcement officers checking the area a couple of times. The neighborhood is better suited to smaller cars, as the streets are quite narrow. We were able to park in front of the house a couple of times. The host provided clear and helpful instructions.

One area that could be improved is emergency egress. There is no alternative escape route, so in the event of a fire blocking the staircase, evacuating from the third floor could be difficult. The inspection hatch in the hallway could be sealed more securely. Air pressure from opening the apartment door can cause it to open slightly, which may allow insects to enter the apartment.

Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt im Haus Horchheim. Das Apartment war bei unserer Ankunft absolut sauber, modern eingerichtet und gleichzeitig sehr gemütlich – man hat sofort das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein. Besonders gefallen hat uns der unkomplizierte, schlüssellose Check-in. Dadurch konnten wir völlig flexibel anreisen, ohne Stress oder Wartezeiten. Die Lage war für uns ebenfalls perfekt: ruhig gelegen, aber mit einer super Anbindung an die Koblenzer Innenstadt. Sowohl mit dem Auto als auch mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln waren wir schnell überall. Man merkt, dass hier viel Wert auf Details, Sauberkeit und ein angenehmes Wohngefühl gelegt wird. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können das Haus Horchheim uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.
