Spacious 4BR Home in Mile End

Plenty of space in the rooms, Beds were comfier than we expected, and there was a fan in every room. Mile End station at the end of the road, not the nicest area itself but pretty decent train links into Central London. Friendly local pub at the end of the street and a few nice coffee places nearby, so its made a good base for exploring the city for us. The owner has been helpful with instructions and checking up on us during the stay.

It had clearly been tidied and cleaned per se, but as some of the decor is at the end of its lifespan the details were a bit tatty. There was a lot of peeling paint, peeling fablon etc, and the old London water system was taking its toll on the bathroom as well, slow drainage and hard water stains etc, and we did give the cups a good wash. Nothing that was really a problem though. The listing originally said there was a plunge pool but there wasnt - bit of a shame as we were coming up in the heatwave and were very excited about it. We have made the owner aware and she has since removed it
