The house is immaculate, beautifully restored and furnished to a very high standard with museum worthy antique pieces in each room. It had everything we could possibly need. The garden and fishpond was a bonus. It was a great experience to stay in a historic home with all the modern comforts.
The only inconvenience was the late check-in (5pm), although we were kindly allowed to leave our luggage at the property after 2pm. The cleaning ladies rang the doorbell at 10:01am at checkout, we would have appreciated if leaving the property didn't feel so rushed, a few extra minutes to carry suitcases outside in peace would have been great.
