The Loft Hostel

This hostel is quiet and comfortable, the host is very kind and friendly. The shower has strong and hot water which I really like. The location is great, with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby.

We stayed here twice during our 1,5 week in uzbekistan! The owner is such an incredibly sweet lady, helpful and kind! Everything is clean, comfortable and cozy dorms, working ac, large lockers. Not far from the metro, close to a large supermarket. We had two amazing stays here🤗

Very cute hostel, comfy beds, friendly staff, hot showers and very reasonably priced

Worth planning ahead for your arrival time as it is not always staffed and there is a lock on the door

I stored my luggage at this hostel after staying one night. Two days later, I came back around 6 p.m. to pick it up and waited in the lobby until midnight because I was meeting a friend here before going to the airport. Before staying in the lobby, I asked the receptionist if I needed to pay, and I was told that I didn’t need to pay as long as I didn’t need a bed. Around 10 p.m., the owner came and told me that I couldn’t stay there, saying this was his hostel, not an airport, and that I had to follow his rules. He also said the receptionist had given me the wrong information. He was angry and spoke to me in a rude manner. What confused me most was that I had asked in advance and was simply following the instructions I was given. If there was a charge or a time limit for staying in the lobby, I would like to pay or leave earlier. In the end, I was asked to pay for a full night’s stay even though I had only been sitting in the lobby. This experience left me feeling disappointed because the issue was caused by inconsistent communication between the staff and the owner, but I ended up being the one who had to pay for it.
