Sea Side Cozy Basement

A hair dryer and a small portable radiator were provided, which were very useful when washing my hair on chilly evenings. The apartment was tidy if not pristine, and the bathroom had a heater you could turn on as well. Body wash was provided, though I’d recommend bringing your preferred hair products. There were a few small rugs and carpets that made the place fairly comfy. There is also WiFi available (spotty, but messages go through). Password is on the router on the windowsill.

The damp smell is persistent and quite unpleasant. I purchased a car freshener which made it more tolerable, but there’s unfortunately little else you can do. The shower is quite small; I’m 4’11” and had to be careful when washing my hair or I’d knock my elbows against the shower rack. There is also no mirror in the bathroom. Even a cheap stick-on mirror above the sink would be a simple but huge improvement. I’d also suggest clearer instructions regarding internet access (location of router/password) and check out procedures. A laminated information sheet would be a quick fix for things like that.

I Arrived a lot later than expected it was easy to find the lock box and gain entry. The kitchen is very equip with everything needed. Hair dryer is a good bonus .as well

The property is a bit damp i have some lung problems so for me it wouldn't be suitable to be in here for a long period of time I bought my own fan so i had air circulation.. there is no mirrors not even in the bathroom which makes things like shaving and grooming difficult.

The location was amazing! 20 minutes walk from train station. A few minutes walk to beach. There was a wide range of food places and bars literally a minute away! The room was perfect for us, just a place for is to get dressed and go out, then sleep. For the first time ever, we forgot to travel with coffee :( but there was coffee and sugar there! The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The bed and pillows were amazing! This week, I hurt my shoulder at work, so have been very restless at home, so was concerned I wouldn't be able to sleep comfortably. But the nice thick pillows were perfect to rest my arm on to be comfortable. The sofa was very comfortable to sit on and chat while we got ready. Would definitely use again!

There were no mirrors, not even in the bathroom. Difficult to put make up on with my little handbag mirror. The security light outside front door kept going on and off throughout the night. 1 minute on, 1 minute off. I half expected to see Pennywise at the door whenever the light switched on. Maybe a curtain at the front door would stop guests seeing this?

Great location, comfy and reasonable bed and utilities, 2 sofas for comfortability,
