AD Dubrovnik Apartments

Bra läge. Rent och fräscht.

Central, on a quiet little street, great facilities, clean. Ground floor access. Communication was excellent and very flexible on times.

Everything was great!

We loved the location and of course the view from the room was gorgeous, especially at sunrise. The room had been recently decorated, its just a shame they hadn't thought to put the bed on the wall where the tv is because one of you would get a gorgeous sea view while drinking their morning cuppa! Priceless! The room was a good size for a couple of nights and very clean with good tea making facilities. Great shower too.

A couple of things which would help/make the apartment even better. Firstly another bedside table, we couldn't understand why there was only one, especially as there was room. Secondly, two bedside lamps would have been fabulous. The overhead light is REALLY bright so not idea for bedtime reading when one of you wants to go to sleep plus not cosy at all! And lastly- there are 2 doors to go through to get to the apartment, all of which are locked - we kept thinking - we hope there isn't a fire? The instructions to get into the apartment were really helpful- it just needed one more simple step at the end to say that the first door you need to get through is directly to the right of the keybox? As we were getting the keys, someone was being let out of that door, so we presumed that was a door to someone's apartment, NOT door one!! We had to ring the owner to confirm where we had to go. Also, it would be helpful to number the keys 1-3 as it got a bit confusing. The first door is a tricky lock and unlock and have to be patient with adjusting it slightly so that it turns. Bit stressful late at night. Apart from this, all o.k!!!

the location is amazing, you are inside the Old town (the castle). Once you find the hotel, is close to all the attractions, near one of the doors and the feeling is amazing, staying up late, you can go swimming in the adriatic just a 5 minutes walk. Near a very nice restaurant.

It´s really hard to find, even with Google maps. You have to climb lots of stairs and go trhough different passages(don´t go if you have something bigger than a carry-on). At the end is part of the fun, but when you are arriving....it might not be a great experience.
