Location was near Washington Square. It was the most affordable place we found.
We should have turned on the air conditioner before we went out. Outdoor temperatures were mid-90s. When we came back to the place after the theater, it was very hot and the only air conditioner is in the living room. It took about an hour to cool down the bedroom so we could sleep.

Incredible apartment in the heart of West Village!
Communication with the host was frictionless, the check-in process smooth, and the apartment was super clean. We were 3 guests, I stayed on the sofa bed and it was very comfortable. The apartment gets decent sunlight and is very quiet. The highlights, though, were without a doubt the location - within minutes you can reach all the hip spots in the village (Via Carota, Pisellino, 4f, 4 Charles, Radiant Coffee etc) - and the very helpful host with whom we had great communication.
The laundry machine in the basement requires coins to operate which is a bit cumbersome.
