Amidst this idyllic backdrop lies Mary Beach Villa, where the traditional villages of the area, the rich history of the local Venetian castle, and the serene, tranquil atmosphere come together to create a perfect setting.
Mary Beach Villa is a modern beachfront oasis, featuring three bedrooms and a private infinity pool that gazes out over the azure South Cretan Sea . Just a few steps from the villa's doorstep, you'll find the secluded sandy beach of Laki. Nearby, three authentic taverns await, offering homemade dishes crafted from traditional recipes and locally sourced ingredients, all prepared upon request by the welcoming owners.
This single-level villa, covering 110 square meters, boasts high-end, contemporary luxury. It comprises a spacious, luminous living room with a comfortable sofa, complete with a flat screen TV and Wi-Fi connectivity. The modern, open-plan kitchen is equipped with a ceramic stovetop, oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and all the necessary utensils.
Three beautifully appointed bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower/WC and a family bathroom with a shower/WC and dual sinks, round out the villa's comfortable layout. The master bedroom features a queen size bed with sea views and direct access to the pool and veranda, while the second bedroom has two single beds, and the third bedroom boasts a double bed. All bedrooms are equipped with air-conditioning units. The living room opens up to the pool through a sliding door, and the private infinity pool spans 18 square meters.
A covered terrace adjacent to the pool is the perfect spot for enjoying your meals with expansive sea views. The village of Fragokastello is a mere 5 km away and offers additional amenities such as supermarkets, restaurants, and ATMs. The quaint village of Skaloti, located approximately 2 km from the villa, has a mini-market for your convenience.
Fragokastello Castle itself is a living piece of history, offering a window into a vibrant and revolutionary past. The castle's remains closely resemble its appearance when it was originally constructed in 1371. Above the main entrance, you'll find a sculpted slate with the Lion of Saint Mark and two Venetian feudal coat of arms. Wir wurden sehr herzlich mit einem Raki begrüßt und durch das Haus geführt. Der erste Eindruck wurde nicht enttäuscht. Das Haus war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der tägliche Service war sehr gut und Lubi hatte immer gute Laune und Tipps zur Hand. Jeden dritten Tag wurde das Haus gereinigt und die Betten frisch bezogen. Nochmals vielen Dank dafür. Die Tavernen waren alle fußläufig zu erreichen und
das Essen war gut. Kleiner Strand direkt von der Terrasse aus zu erreichen. Jeden morgen kommt der Bäcker mit seinem Wagen und versorgt einem mit frischem Brot und Gebäck.
Es wäre schön wenn das quietschen beim öffnen und schließen der Terrassentüre abgestellt würde.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay and it is certainly hard to beat the location with proximity to sea and super quiet beach. Property was arguably better than expected, a little larger than pictures suggest and also planting between and around properties really enhance look and privacy of villas. Housekeeper was amazingly helpful and attentive, came daily to sweep terrace and attend to pool and also pleasantly surprised to have villa serviced twice over a 10 day stay. Only disappointment was the lack of a welcome pack, just water and a few basic provisions would have been amazing after a close to 2 hour drive (from either airport) and with nearest shop a few miles away, this would be a really helpful and considerate touch and could be done for less than €10. An information pack of some description, possibly detailing nearest shops, ATM, doctor, restaurant recommendations and places of interest would also be appreciated. Housekeeper provided this info but always helpful to have as reference. Wonderful holiday and really pleased to have found it.

Die drei Häuser der Anlage liegen direkt am Meer. Der Weg zum Strand ist nur getrennt vom Garten und der kleinen wenig befahrenen Straße. Das Haus war sehr sauber. Die Betten bequem und mit drei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern ist auch genug Platz für 6 Personen. Die große Wohnküche ist gut ausgestattet. Das Highlight ist allerdings die Terrasse mit dem Infinty-Pool. Drei kleine Erbsen gibt es aber doch: Kein Toiletten-Papier in die WC‘s, da sie sonst verstopfen. In den drei Schlafzimmern gab es keine Stühle und im Ensuite-Bad fehlte jegliche Möglichkeit um Shampoo, Zahnbürste und Co. abzustellen. Ein kleines Regal am Waschbecken wäre sehr hilfreich. Was aber den Gesamteindruck nicht schmälert und das Haus hat auf jeden Fall 5 Sterne verdient. Leckeres Essen gab es in der Taverne Zorbas nur 500m entfernt. Sehr nette Wirtsleute und preiswertes Essen. Die andere Taverne Ionis, direkt neben den drei Häusern hatte noch zu soll aber auch gut sein! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Tolle Ferienwohnung direkt am Meer, sehr gut eingerichtet, alles sauber und in gepflegtem Zustand. Ruhige Umgebung aber nette Tavernen mit leckerem Essen in der direkten Nachbarschaft. Toller Service durch die sehr nette und hilfsbereite Haushälterin! Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen!
