The Oshin Villa

Theplace is great and the owners are simply amazing! They were super helpful and kind all throughout our stay. The place has opened up recently and is only a short walk to the beach! I highly recommend it!

Nice host, always ready to help! and the rooms are very well organized and convenient. It is also quiet compared to other places in Trincomalee.

The facilities are not easily accessible by car. It is in a small street and you need to cross an unpaved field to drive to a parking. We were also in a floor level room so views from the room was directly to the garden tables (probably the rooms upstairs do benefit from better view but we didn’t get the chance so can’t confirm) and view from the garden itself was reduced to the empty field in front. Breakfast is also not included so not the best value for money we’ve found (some places offer similar service but with breakfast included for the same price). Overall very nice stay, would be perfect for you if you don’t have a vehicle and do not usually get breakfast.

We had a great stay at this hotel in Trincomalee, where we spent two nights. The room was comfortable, clean, and everything was exactly as described in the listing. The location was also great and very convenient for exploring the area. What really made our stay special was the owner, Lakmal, who was incredibly kind, welcoming and full of great advice. He recommended that we attend a local festival in Trincomalee, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. It was an amazing experience that we probably would never have had without his recommendation. The hotel itself and, above all, the owner’s advice and hospitality played a big part in making our experience in Trincomalee so enjoyable. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Die Besitzer sind super nett und äußerst hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind komplett neu und sehr schön, insbesondere die oberen mit Balkon, die haben auch eine schönere Sicht. Das Internet ist leider nicht gut und aktuell gibt es noch kein Frühstück, es soll aber noch eine Küche eingebaut werden. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und die Lage ist fußläufig ein paar Minuten von der Hauptstraße und ca. 10 Minuten vom Strand entfernt.
