This a brand new conversion with only a few reviews so I will write a long one! First the host was incredibly responsive, presumably in response to a previous negative review. The apartment is beautifully renovated and looks like the photos. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding was nice too, not some horrible nylon type stuff! Unfortunately the washing machine and dishwasher did not work- both had an error that suggested no water was getting to the appliance. We were there over a weekend and the owner was calling a plumber on Monday. There will always be teething problems with a new conversion but I would have thought someone would check it. If these appliances are important to you, I would check that the plumber has fixed the issue. We were half way through a month road trip and needed a washing machine but hey ho, that’s life! The apartment is a bit difficult to find but it IS worth finding so don’t delete now! It’s on a pedestrian road with electronic bollards so don’t try to drive there. The apartment is near the gate of San Gil. Go under the arch and turn right. Or come up from the cathedral and turn left before the arch. You have to carry your bags from the car park so travel light! There’s a great locals car park behind the apartment called Parking las carozas but you have to arrive during siesta to get a space. If not the owner recommends nearest paid car park near Mayor. Once you have walked to the end of their road (C Alvar Fañez) it’s a short steep hill, with steps on side, so avoid if you have mobility issues. Fortunately there’s a lift to take you up to the lovely apartment. It’s a great place that I would recommend.

Suelo viajar bastante a Burgos y siempre reservo a última hora por trabajo… Vi este alojamiento nuevo y reservé por ser tan céntrico. El Check-in fue muy fácil y rápido, todo estaba impecable y la cama muy cómoda. Sin duda, repetiré.

Magnífica ubicación, muy cerca del centro y a la vez zona muy tranquila. El apartamento precioso, todo nuevo y muy limpio. Muy luminoso.Tiene todo lo necesario.
